MEP appeals for return of stolen dog

South East MEP Nirj Deva today (Monday) appeal for the safe return of a Labrador stolen in West London last Wednesday.

The dog, who answers to the name Marvin, is described as dark ginger, short-haired, entire (has not been castrated), with very droopy eyelids and slightly weepy eyes.

The crime was witnessed between 16:00 - 16:16 pm Wednesday 6th September 2006 at Osterley Station in West London.

CCTV footage taken at the station shows the dog playing with three black male youths that were later joined by a further five black males. As they passed through the ticket barriers, witnesses heard the men calling and whistling to the dog, who obeyed by following them. The dog’s brass heart-shaped security tag has been removed.

The dog’s ‘PetLog’ microchip number is 967 000 000 317 630.

South East MEP Nirj Deva said:

“As a dog owner myself, I can only begin to imagine the pain my constituent and her family are going through.

“If you have any information you think may help, however irrelevant you may feel it is, please contact Davina Valaydon on 07958 411 050.”
